The 2nd Izmit International Short Film Festival

"The 2nd Izmit International Short Film Festival(IISFF)" was held in Izmit with "Art and Industry" themed between October 2-4, 2019 in cooperation Izmit Municipality and Art Nicomedia Culture and Art Association(AND). 548 films from 30 different countries were submitted to The 2nd IISFF.

As a result of the jury committee assessment, 18 finalist films from the international competition section, 12 films from the national competition section and a selection of screenings, in two main sections, namely the international and national competition sections, with the categories of fiction, documentary, animation / experimental and festival theme.

A total of 41 films , 11 of which were films, met art lovers at 41 Buda Shopping Mall Show Area on October 2-3, 2019.

In addition to the film screenings, "Art and Industry" , "Reality in Documentary" and "Short Film and Screenplays" themed panel discussions were held in festival places.
